Tecnorobot recently opened its doors to a group of Mechanical Engineering students for an exclusive masterclass focused on planetary gearboxes and their applications in industrial automation.
The session was led by Eng. Andrea Mino and Eng. Carlo Vigorelli, two key figures at Tecnorobot, who passionately and expertly conveyed the importance of this mechanical component within robotic systems.
Theory and Practice Meet in the Field
The masterclass began with a theoretical session focused on the operation of planetary gearboxes, their advantages over other transmission systems, and their use in high-efficiency production environments.
This was followed by a practical session in the workshop, where students had the opportunity to observe Tecnorobot solutions in action and gain firsthand insight into the challenges and design logic behind each automated system.
